The John Muir Award

Our short series of educational walks are an ideal vehicle for undertaking the John Muir Award, an environmental award scheme, based on wild places.

In fact, to date, some 250-plus childen and adults have gained the Discovery level award through particpating in Feet First programmes.

So far, thes have all been done with schools. We are also keen to assist other groups discover our canal networks and use their experiences for the award.
